Villa Lo is a modern summer house nestled on its own island within the UNESCO World Heritage area of the Gulf of Bothnia. With our expertise in contemporary design and construction, we created two new bedrooms and expanded the dining and leisure space, providing guests with captivating views of the surrounding forest and sea.
Our main bedroom offers relaxation and luxury with its eye-level views from the bed, providing an unforgettable experience of the midnight sunsets. To maximize the living space, we designed a large terrace that doubles as an entertainment area and access point between the main building, housing the kitchen, sauna, and living space, and the bedroom area. This unique design allows us to provide the maximum accommodation within the permitted area, enhancing the inside/outside living that typifies the Finnish summer house experience.
As per the client’s request, we also designed a “tower” area to enjoy an evening drink while taking in the breath-taking sea views, regardless of the weather.
